But why, why in a theater setting, where everyone has a nice chair and every view in the building is a good one, why would everyone choose to stand for the entire performance…?
A theater is not an arena, or a club.
A theater is where one sits and enjoys a performance.
I am extremely disappointed in the herd mentality of audience.
What a shame it was that people were forced to stand and look over heads when they paid for a comfortable chair with an amazing view.
Along with the announcement of no phones & photography, an announcement should be made that recommends everyone stay seated, at least for shows in a theater setting.
